No holiday to Egypt would be complete without our qualified Egyptologists who bring to life the sites, temples, tombs and museums of ancient Egypt. We are proud to say that we employ some of the best guides in Egypt to ensure your holiday is the most memorable one you will have. All qualified guides in Egypt must be certified and registered. To become a qualified guide they must study for a four year Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management (which includes Tourism Guidance). The guides study Pharaonic, Greco Roman, Coptic and Islamic history, arts and architecture and mastering at least one foreign language is also a must. They are often the highlight of the holiday, here’s what some of our customers have said…
“Both our guides on the excursions, Waheed and George, were so knowledgeable and so helpful, making every excursion an adventure and a delight.” Kathleen Crane, Nile Cruise - 17th May 2010
“The highest accolade must go to our guide Amir Helmy, whose enthusiasm and knowledge of the ancient monuments was a revelation.” Alan and Christeen Ramsey, Nile Cruise, 3rd May 2010
