Orbital Travel are pleased to announce that we have chartered the Hs Nile Vision for Spring 2010, this Nile cruise boat represents another step forward in comfort and style while cruising the Nile. The cabins are well appointed and spacious, all public areas are tastefully finished in a smart modern style.  All Cabins on board are non-smoking as standard. There are three elegant bars on board to suit every taste. The boat boasts International cuisine in the dining room located on the lower level and includes a wide selection of Italian dishes as well as many local delights.

From the moment step in to the elegant reception area everything about Hs Nile Vision eludes quality and style. All cabins are spacious, the smallest being 22 square meters to the largest (Royal Suits) which is over 50 square meters. You'll enjoy the comfort and luxury of this five star cruiser as you sail the Nile back into the land of the Pharaohs.

All of our Nile cruise holidays are fully escorted by an English speaking Egyptologist who will be on hand throughout your cruise.  Our Nile cruise programs are designed with our clients in mind, to explore as much as possible within the seven night Nile cruise.

Hs Nile Vision will be sailing on a Monday departure schedule until further notice. Departures are from Manchester Airport, London Gatwick and London Heathrow.

Boat layout and cabin locations:

Main Deck: 4 x Deluxe cabins twin/double bed & 2 x Royal Suites with large bed.
Middle deck: 28 Deluxe cabins with twin/double bed & 2 x Best Vision cabins with large bed.
Bridge Deck: 20 Superior double cabins with large bed as well as sofa for triple use.

All cabins are non smoking.

Day 1 - Monday

Met at Luxor airport upon arrival and transfer to your cruise vessel check in and dine on board. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2 - Tuesday

Enjoy your first Egyptian sunrise, followed by visit to the West Bank to the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board as the boat sets sail towards Esna and then to Edfu. Evening Captains welcome cocktail party before dinner on board. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3 - Wednesday

Morning visit to the extraordinary Temple of Horus, the mythical son of Isis and Osiris in Edfu. Here, according to myth, Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating his father's Brother Seth in combat. Afternoon cruise onto to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris before sailing on to Aswan. Evening is the tradional galabya party night for dinner and afterwards. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4 - Thursday

Visit the High Dam - finished in 1971; it has ensured up to three harvests a year. The Unfinished Obelisk - still rooted to the bedrock of pink granite and the Temple of Isis on Philae Island. In the afternoon free time in Aswan whereare markets and shops to explore. Overnight in Aswan. 

Day 5 - Friday

*Optional excursion to the ancient wonder of Abu Simbel priced at £130.00 pp by air, or £65.00 pp by road or enjoy a trip in a traditional felluca around Elephantine Island which will lead you to the Botanical Gardens on General Kitchener Island given as a gift in 1890. Here, visitors enjoy the beautiful flowers imported from Africa, India and the Far East. Evening Show with the Nubian dance troop. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6 - Saturday

Morning Sail to Kom Ombo then on to Edfu where the boat stops to allow clients who have joined the cruise in Aswan to visit the temple before sailing back to Esna and mooring for the night.

Day 7 - Sunday

Morning visit the partly excavated Temple of Khnum which is dedicated to the ram headed god Khnum who was the patron god of cataracts who fashiuons mankind from Nile clay on his potter's wheel. Afternoon sail to Luxor where you will visit the East Bank Temples of Luxor and Karnak which were originally joined an avenue of Sphinx nearly a mile in lenght. Fairwell dinner on board and moor in Luxor.

Day 8 - Monday

Check out of your cabin by 09:00 hours ready for transfer to Luxor international airport for your return flight to the UK. Complkimentry lunch on board for those with later flights. *Optional excursion, Balloon flight at sunrise priced at £100.00.

Please Note: The order or content of your itinerary may have to be amended due to lock closures, low water levels or any other unforeseeable circumstances. Due to the increasing number of boats on the Nile, at some docking points boats are moored side by side obstructing the view from cabins.

General Information: Occasionally, due to operational difficulties a change of vessel can occur. However, the sightseeing itinerary will remain the same.

Traditionally, a tip is expected at the rate of £4.00 per person per night which includes coach drivers, bell boys, housekeeping staff, crew, bar/restaurant staff and all off the boat tipping. Additional tipping is not expected.

*Orbital Travel act as agents for the activity operator/supplier. Please note that the contract for these excursions, tours and activities is between the client and the local suppliers who offer them. Local suppliers are independent of Orbital Travel Limited.   Optional Excursions are payable in Cash at the time of booking.   1st February 2010.
